Say my name

Before devoting myself fully to my artistic career, I, as a professional photographer, did wedding and family photo contracts. I never managed to tell the enchanted and socially expected version of these rituals.

I realize now that I was witnessing the exercice of heteronormative power, which in these places seemed to take its symbolic violence to an extreme level. A violence for which I only felt a kamikaze desire for annihilation.

This is what I captured, in spite of myself, because of me.
